  1. Moyca, this is a beautiful composition and I really like all the detail in the delicate petals. I do think in some areas the magenta is oversaturated to the point of losing detail (upper right and bottom left). Blown color channels is something I have just begun to learn about, but it looks like the magenta is blown.

    • Yes, I know…I took this shot in the most unpleasant lighting in the middle of the day when photographers normally don’t take pictures…even LR couldn’t save it ;)…if I wasn’t ‘a part’ of 365 project, I wouldn’t post at least half of my photos ๐Ÿ™‚

      • I see. I will say I think the Adobe Standard camera calibration tends to be more heavily saturated and sometimes changing to camera neutral will help. I’m not sure if you tried that, but it’s just an idea. I totally understand what you are saying about the 365. I am several days behind on posting my photos. And, I have been working on things for a birthday party for my youngest, a photo session I want to do with him later this week ( I was hoping to have them done already, but I don’t), and a watching CreativeLive Live class on food photography that is going on the last few days. With all that, I haven’t shot much or edited anything yet, and I’m pretty sure I just have a bunch of “snapshot” type photos from the past few days that I wouldn’t post either, except for the 365.

        • Thank you for the suggestion! I will try that! Hehe, only my stubborn character keeps me going ๐Ÿ™‚ Next week (tuesday) we are going on vacation and I won’t be able to post my photos for about 10 days…we don’t have a laptop…I will take photos every day though ๐Ÿ™‚ I just can’t wait for beautiful landscapes and sceneries with the sea…!! I’ll take my smartphone so I will check your posts if I find wifi somewhere ๐Ÿ™‚
